I'll admit that I am VERY picky when it comes to diapers! The ONLY diapers I would use on our baby was Pampers Cruisers before trying these. But, I got a box of these Munchkin size 4 diapers for 7 cents a diaper and couldn't pass up the deal! So...They passed my tests!! I love everything about them! The consistency is great, it's not too soft and mushy when wet like others. Sometimes diapers are so loosey-goosey that when they get wet, they start falling apart and getting soggy, sometimes even making their pants wet. These stay dry on the outside! No leaks! I love how the back has the little elastic at the top of their bum to help hold in and prevent blow outs! The area fitting around the legs has a great design with two layers of elastic lining to prevent ruining clothes from leaks out the sides. The tabs stick very well, and the sides aren't too stretchy to where they end up so skinny they dig into the baby's rolls! They are just right, and look very comfortable so when they sit they aren't digging into their skin. There isn't a heavy smell to them either like some diapers. I don't like my baby smelling like a feminine pad! The designs are super gender neutral and very cute! I'm so pleased and am sharing this information with all my friends! I'm so thankful for these awesome, affordable diapers! LOVE LOVE LOVE!

These diapers work very well, and although the style periodically changes as I've read others mentioning, they are good. The latest shipment I received no longer has a yellow stripe that turns blue to show when it's wet, but that's not really essential to me, as the fullness of the diaper tells me what I need to know. The one thing that I do like is that the inner lining (which touches baby's bottom) is the smooth material, as opposed to the mesh lining which I've heard others found was not as comfortable for the baby. A previous shipment I had was with the mesh lining and I didn't notice any problems, but it did sometimes leave an imprint on baby's bottom; the main thing is that the smooth lining seems to work very well and leave no mark or irritation. I do have very mixed feelings about all the of the waste created by diaper use, but these ended up being the most economical and practical solution for us, and the diapers hold a lot well, so we're hopefully using them as effectively as possible! The pricing on Amazon is also very competitive which is great, too.

We originally started out with a subscription delivery of another brand of disposable diapers, which also worked quite well. However, as our infants bowel movements started to get bigger, we started having "blow outs". All up his back and into his onesie - GROSS. The purpose of a swim diaper is to hold in solid waste without retaining much liquid. This means that if you leave your 1 year old in a swim diaper for too long, you will have pee all over. The point isn't to have the functionality of a normal diaper, the point is to keep fecal matter out of the pool. While a normal diaper will probably contain most 'insults' even during swimming, they almost instantly balloon to enormous girth as they become saturated with pool water. This makes them uncomfortable for the child and unpleasant to wear outside the pool as your child is going to be soaking wet.

I am a stay at home Mom with 4 children. I have been buying diapers for the past almost 11 years and Pampers Baby Dry is hands down the best diaper on the market, and believe me I have tried them all! All of my kids have been "super soakers" when it comes to pee. These diapers way out perform any other brand including major brands and department store brands. The major selling points for me are:
1. They are thin, easy to pack 5 in a diaper bag.
2. Easy to unfold with one hand (if you, like me frequently have to use the other hand to keep baby still)
3. tabs are easily opened without extra unfolding and don't rip off like several other brands.
4. Doesn't leave residue on baby or smell like pee when really soaked.
5. wider in the front to prevent baby from peeing out the side (and my kids are experts at this)

One thing that may be helpful is to remember that Pampers fit better on children that are long and skinny. If your baby is short and really chubby in the bottom, then Huggies will fit your baby better. This, I believe, explains the few complaints about Pampers not fitting or leaking.

Huggies Snug Diapers Economy Count

I used these diapers on my son until he was seventeen pounds. They held leaks way better than Pampers and Luvs and were easier to put on and have a stretchier fit around the sides. I had to recently switch to the Stage 2 up to 18 lbs Huggies because he put on weight in his belly and made the tabs loose enough that his piano fingers could pull the diaper off! But that wasn't the diapers fault so I can't hold that against them. We're still on the stage 2's and love them as much as these. Huggies is the only brand name we buy and the only brand we would buy for others. Nobody wants to pick up their baby and find their pajama bottoms are soaked and so is the mattress! Huggies has made that unheard of in our household. Thank you Huggies! My son's dry bottom thanks you too!

My 15 month old is a super soaker at night. We bought these out of necessity and they've been great. I was just about to set a subscribe and save delivery (we're on our second box from Target and I figured it'd be cheaper to subscribe) and I noticed the terrible reviews. We've never had the bursting crystal issue. These are the only thing that will keep him dry at night. I'm a little weary to subscribe now, even knowing they work great for us, because of the bursting crystal issue other people have sited, but I know they have been fine for us.

Update 9/17/11: My son eventually started wetting through these night diapers as well, so we have had to switch to using a very thin poise pad with our regular daytime diapers and he is hardly wet at all in the mornings. This solution was better for us.

Well I would like to start out with how upset I am that they do not make the swaddles in size 4. It took me a very long time to find something I was sorta happy with. The Cruisers are really good. I have never had a leak or mess with them. With huggies and most other diapers I always had to change cloths because it would seep threw onto his pants. With the swaddles I do not have that problem at all. I can not swear to you that you will love them because every single persona nd baby is different. But For me they are the best out there after the swaddles. But I would still run back to the swaddles if they made larger sizes.

OH and I can tell a difference in his walking and running in the Cruisers. He seems more at ease if that makes since. I guess its something you have to see to understand. Good luck you everyone and your little ones :D

Also, I wanted to use up all the luvs and huggies I got for gifts but I wish I had just spent the money for these. These wipes are great for all ages. They have some sort of wetting solution on them that is also a silicone or slippery-type of liquid, and they don't sting or hurt your skin at all. It says on the container that they work 30% better than toilet paper, I'd say it's 100% better! My mom is in a nursing home right now, and goes on a bedpan frequently, and when she didn't have these wipes, the nurses used regular toilet paper to clean her afterwards, which left her sensitive and thinning skin with redness, irritation and itching. These wipes are a miracle for her. The nurses have told other patient's families and these wipes are popping up in all the other rooms now too. They are trying to get it approved as a covered supply for their patients.

My daughter who is 8 has bowel troubles, and frequently has loose and acidic stools, and when she was at school, would have a terrible time trying to clean herself. She know keeps a pack in her locker and it's made a huge difference in her school bathroom time. Before the wipes, she couldn't always get clean enough and we would struggle with soreness, redness and rashes every night, despite her daily bath.

I used them too, and they are especially helpful during my monthly period, because when you are at work you can have break-through bleeding, and when I go to the bathroom to clean up, these wipes are very handy, and then can get flushed after I am done cleaning.

We order these wipes once or twice a month, and there is a packet of them in every bathroom, in my purse, my daughter's backpack, and in both cars. They are fabulous!

Huggies Snug Diapers Economy Count

I used these diapers on my son until he was seventeen pounds. They held leaks way better than Pampers and Luvs and were easier to put on and have a stretchier fit around the sides. I had to recently switch to the Stage 2 up to 18 lbs Huggies because he put on weight in his belly and made the tabs loose enough that his piano fingers could pull the diaper off! But that wasn't the diapers fault so I can't hold that against them. We're still on the stage 2's and love them as much as these. Huggies is the only brand name we buy and the only brand we would buy for others. Nobody wants to pick up their baby and find their pajama bottoms are soaked and so is the mattress! Huggies has made that unheard of in our household. Thank you Huggies! My son's dry bottom thanks you too!

I am a stay at home Mom with 4 children. I have been buying diapers for the past almost 11 years and Pampers Baby Dry is hands down the best diaper on the market, and believe me I have tried them all! All of my kids have been "super soakers" when it comes to pee. These diapers way out perform any other brand including major brands and department store brands. The major selling points for me are:
1. They are thin, easy to pack 5 in a diaper bag.
2. Easy to unfold with one hand (if you, like me frequently have to use the other hand to keep baby still)
3. tabs are easily opened without extra unfolding and don't rip off like several other brands.
4. Doesn't leave residue on baby or smell like pee when really soaked.
5. wider in the front to prevent baby from peeing out the side (and my kids are experts at this)

One thing that may be helpful is to remember that Pampers fit better on children that are long and skinny. If your baby is short and really chubby in the bottom, then Huggies will fit your baby better. This, I believe, explains the few complaints about Pampers not fitting or leaking.

Abena Bambo Premium Diapers Newborn

I am writing this to help others since I love these diapers, but the sizing is pretty off. Our son was born 7lbs, 20in long. In the hospital, they had him in Pampers swaddlers, newborn size. When we got home, we realized that these newborn size were WAY bigger than the Pampers. In the meantime, we bought more Pampers from the store, only to realize that the newborn size in the store was larger than the newborn size from the hospital. We actually ended up purchasing Preemie sized Swaddlers which were the same size as the hospital newborn size! So weird.

Anyway, we still wanted to use these diapers, so although not available on Amazon, this company actually sells a preemie size. The preemie size is perfect and the same exact size as Pampers Newborn Swaddlers from Target. I will post pictures to show the differences. We have had few leaks with these diapers, mostly user error, and not the diaper itself. I love the Grovia system! I have several shells with inserts, the inserts are great because they snap in place and do not move around. I really like this AIO as well, it fits my slim twin babies so perfectly! No leaks so far, but my babies are only 9 weeks old and are not what one would consider "heavy wetters".
As for the staining that others have complained about, I have not had this issue. I just spray the diaper with Biokleen foaming action Bac-Out, it's a live enzyme cleanser with lime peel extract, smells wonderful and eliminates any stains. The cleanser is sold on Amazon, Whole Foods and Smith's Grocery in the natural foods section. Hope this helps.

UPDATE--- Now the babes are 6 months and I have had some stains resistant to my beloved Biokleen Bac-Out, however, I find that if I pour a tiny bit of Oxyclean (I use the liquid) on the stain and let it sit 15 min before putting it in the wash, it will take any stains out. Even old stains.

These diapers work very well, and although the style periodically changes as I've read others mentioning, they are good. The latest shipment I received no longer has a yellow stripe that turns blue to show when it's wet, but that's not really essential to me, as the fullness of the diaper tells me what I need to know. The one thing that I do like is that the inner lining (which touches baby's bottom) is the smooth material, as opposed to the mesh lining which I've heard others found was not as comfortable for the baby. A previous shipment I had was with the mesh lining and I didn't notice any problems, but it did sometimes leave an imprint on baby's bottom; the main thing is that the smooth lining seems to work very well and leave no mark or irritation. I do have very mixed feelings about all the of the waste created by diaper use, but these ended up being the most economical and practical solution for us, and the diapers hold a lot well, so we're hopefully using them as effectively as possible! The pricing on Amazon is also very competitive which is great, too.

Like lot of people, I'm looking out for ways and products to aid the environment and be more green. I'm a first time mom and I wanted to find something a little more green for diaper for my newborn. I had ordered the new born size before I went into labor. After I came home from the hospital I started using this diaper..... the diapers were leaking too often. I was worried and switched to pampers dry.... he started to develop diaper rashes inspite of applying petrolatum during every diaper change. So I switched back to huggies pure and natural, his rashes started to reduce, but the leaking problem started. I didn't want to give up on this brand, because it was huggies, so I decided to give this another try, so I ordered size 1 (my son is a big baby... 8.3lbs at birth) and that did the trick. So the first time around it was not the brand but the size that caused the leakage. Now my son is happy without any rashes and wet diaper and so am I. Sometimes he goes on without a diaper change for about 5 to 6 hours and never has it leaked after the size upgrade. Now I've ordered size 2 and my son is 2 months old. So for people having leaking trouble, try a bigger size. One advice - I was told that a new born might go thro' about 10-12 diapers a day and I could use new born size for upto a month and half. So I enrolled in the amazon subscribe and save program (btw, it is great time and money saver and the best part is you get what you ordered at your door step in two days with Prime Shipping) and by the time I delivered, I had about 300 diapers on hand-a months supply. But I couldn't use more than a 50 before I had to upgrade to size 1. So wait to find out your child's size and then stock up.

Fisher Price Happy Nights Diapers Value

We are parents of a very large family, and used cloth diapers for all of them, until we had our twins. We started out with other brands, trying to find a good mix on quality and price. I really dislike the scented diapers, so the Fisher Price diapers are wonderful, since they are UN-scented. The day/night thing has worked out pretty well. They are heavy wetters because we are giving them more bottles than is recommended, and at night, I find it helps to use the diaper doubler things sold at BabiesRus, inside the night-time diaper. So that costs an extra 10 cents per night per baby. This works out to be a bargain overall for us. The diapers are decorated with pictures of baby animals (non commercial ones) and are done in sweet colors suitable for boys and girls. My husband is very enthusiastic about these diapers. He thinks they are excellent. We have used them for nine months now, using the subscription delivery with the price hovering around $14 to $16 per case of 82 (Size 4). Also, I have not seen any evidence of gel beads on their skin. We've had only occasional tape breaks but usually were from pulling too hard when we were putting the diapers on, not when they were walking around and playing, so I'd say the tapes are strong enough. Best feature is that these are un-scented!

I like these almost as much as 7th Generation. The difference is (besides the color which is white compared to their tan) these are more paper-crinkly-like in texture and the 7th Gen are softer. I guess the 7th Gen is more like a Pampers swaddlers texture especially after they have been worn for half an hour or more. These are crisper more like a Target brand diaper. Anyway they do the job and never have irritated my baby over 6 months of usage (alternating with the other brand) and while I have sometimes (about 4 times) had overnight leakage I think that has been due to me putting them on crooked or loose in the dark. But it's possible the absorbency is a little slower on the uptake in this brand. The reason I started using these at all is their newborn size is nice, comparable to Pampers, while 7th Gen is a little clunkier for a newborn.

Let me give you a little bit of background and then I will explain why I love the Sensitive Pampers Swaddlers so much:

Our baby is starting his fifth day of life outside the womb. He's beautiful, healthy, and weighed in at 7 lbs 9 ounces (21 inches long) at birth. He is home from the hospital, he eats a ton, and he is insanely productive in terms of his diaper utilization ;)

If you read enough Amazon reviews about the normal (i.e. non-"sensitive") Pampers Swaddlers you will find that Pampers started making them differently in 2010. Many people who were fully satisfied with the pre-2010 version were unhappy with the 2010 version. We were given a pre-2010 set of the normal swaddlers in the hospital. We found the moisture indicator (no longer available with the normal 2010 swaddlers) invaluable, but the diaper tended to smear the poo around his body. At our baby shower someone gave us a bag of the 2010 swaddlers which also smeared the poo around but did not have the moisture strip. Let me give you a little bit of background and then I will explain why I love the Sensitive Pampers Swaddlers so much:

Our baby is starting his fifth day of life outside the womb. He's beautiful, healthy, and weighed in at 7 lbs 9 ounces (21 inches long) at birth. He is home from the hospital, he eats a ton, and he is insanely productive in terms of his diaper utilization ;)

If you read enough Amazon reviews about the normal (i.e. non-"sensitive") Pampers Swaddlers you will find that Pampers started making them differently in 2010. Many people who were fully satisfied with the pre-2010 version were unhappy with the 2010 version. We were given a pre-2010 set of the normal swaddlers in the hospital. We found the moisture indicator (no longer available with the normal 2010 swaddlers) invaluable, but the diaper tended to smear the poo around his body. At our baby shower someone gave us a bag of the 2010 swaddlers which also smeared the poo around but did not have the moisture strip. I am a stay at home Mom with 4 children. I have been buying diapers for the past almost 11 years and Pampers Baby Dry is hands down the best diaper on the market, and believe me I have tried them all! All of my kids have been "super soakers" when it comes to pee. These diapers way out perform any other brand including major brands and department store brands. The major selling points for me are:
1. They are thin, easy to pack 5 in a diaper bag.
2. Easy to unfold with one hand (if you, like me frequently have to use the other hand to keep baby still)
3. tabs are easily opened without extra unfolding and don't rip off like several other brands.
4. Doesn't leave residue on baby or smell like pee when really soaked.
5. wider in the front to prevent baby from peeing out the side (and my kids are experts at this)

One thing that may be helpful is to remember that Pampers fit better on children that are long and skinny. If your baby is short and really chubby in the bottom, then Huggies will fit your baby better. This, I believe, explains the few complaints about Pampers not fitting or leaking.

These diapers work so great for our son!! We tried every other brand and they just weren't for us! My son pee's A LOT, and we had a very hard time finding diapers that wouldn't leak! We tried huggies and pampers and both leaked really bad! Some one suggested that I try the LUV's brand, just to see if it was any different! And Oh my gosh!!! It was night and day!! We have been using these diapers for over 4 months now and NOT ONE leaky diaper!! I do have to say that I think the LUV's run a little small, but that actually works great for us! My son is really tall but thin, and we think thats why we had so many leaks with the other brands.These diapers are super absorbent! And have absorbing, stretch leak protection along the sides! I love that the diapers smell like baby powder! lol It just adds to the good baby smell!! All in all!! These diapers worked great for us! But every baby is different, so buy a smaller bunch to see if they work for you first...and then if they do go ahead and order this big box!!
