The best disposable diaper!

Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive Diapers Economy

Pampers Swaddlers Sensitive Diapers Economy

These diapers work very well, and although the style periodically changes as I've read others mentioning, they are good. The latest shipment I received no longer has a yellow stripe that turns blue to show when it's wet, but that's not really essential to me, as the fullness of the diaper tells me what I need to know. The one thing that I do like is that the inner lining (which touches baby's bottom) is the smooth material, as opposed to the mesh lining which I've heard others found was not as comfortable for the baby. A previous shipment I had was with the mesh lining and I didn't notice any problems, but it did sometimes leave an imprint on baby's bottom; the main thing is that the smooth lining seems to work very well and leave no mark or irritation. I do have very mixed feelings about all the of the waste created by diaper use, but these ended up being the most economical and practical solution for us, and the diapers hold a lot well, so we're hopefully using them as effectively as possible! The pricing on Amazon is also very competitive which is great, too.

  2. I wish these diapers had been available for my first baby. I have used them from the start with my second baby and she has never had any diaper rash at all. Do yourself and your baby a favor and get these. They are a little more expensive than some of the other brands but worth it. With regular Pampers, the entire room in which they are stored smells like the diaper fragrance (a smell I do not enjoy). Not so with these - they really have very, very little fragrance to them. They seem to fit well and very rarely do they leak. I am so happy to have these for my baby and I'm glad Pampers is now making them in the larger sizes as well.

  3. These were the only diapers that would fit our newborn! We liked the stripe that indicates if the diaper is wet or not. However, some boxes we received had a very strong chemical smell that we didn't enjoy. Now that she is older, we use Earth's Best or 7th Generation diapers and just find out the old fashioned way if she's wet!!!

  4. My husband considers the blue wetness indicator to be the greatest invention of the century (sorry IPhone). He was literally crushed when I told him I didn't think any diapers had wetness indicators beyond a size 2. I could see him looking at our daughter with unshed tears, silently willing her to stop growing. Then, lo and behold, extensive Internet searches provided this godsend. My daughter still has diapers that perform well, my husband has the wetness indicator that is probably the no. 3 love of his life, and I have a happy family. Life is good.

  5. I can't believe I'm writing a review on diapers.

PROS: Overall leak free (for the record, our child is longer than average and I've read these are better for longer kids) - another brand we used, leaked often. Cool option where this blue line appears if your child is wet. Easy to use (put on the child).

CONS: Kid uses way too many diapers (okay, not really a con against the diaper, but I feel my kid if pooping and peeing quarters all day long - luckily, I love him).

Summary: Works well for taller (longer) kids.

  6. I usually stick with Seventh Generation diapers for my toddler but I love the Pampers Sensitive for Newborns and young babies. They keep the bum less irritated and the wetness indicator really helps keep track of the minimal amounts of pee. One less thing to worry about, especially if you are a new parent.

  7. I absolutely love these sensitive diapers. I can always tell a big difference on my baby girl on when she wears sensitive and when she doesn't. Love that Amazon offers these on Subscribe and Save and I'm able to save almost $10 on each box of diapers!!!!
