Best diapers ever (great price too)!

Fisher Price Happy Nights Diapers Value

We are parents of a very large family, and used cloth diapers for all of them, until we had our twins. We started out with other brands, trying to find a good mix on quality and price. I really dislike the scented diapers, so the Fisher Price diapers are wonderful, since they are UN-scented. The day/night thing has worked out pretty well. They are heavy wetters because we are giving them more bottles than is recommended, and at night, I find it helps to use the diaper doubler things sold at BabiesRus, inside the night-time diaper. So that costs an extra 10 cents per night per baby. This works out to be a bargain overall for us. The diapers are decorated with pictures of baby animals (non commercial ones) and are done in sweet colors suitable for boys and girls. My husband is very enthusiastic about these diapers. He thinks they are excellent. We have used them for nine months now, using the subscription delivery with the price hovering around $14 to $16 per case of 82 (Size 4). Also, I have not seen any evidence of gel beads on their skin. We've had only occasional tape breaks but usually were from pulling too hard when we were putting the diapers on, not when they were walking around and playing, so I'd say the tapes are strong enough. Best feature is that these are un-scented!

  1. I purchased this box of diapers on Amazon, and I am so impressed! I wasn't sure what to expect, but these diapers are really great! I've been using Pampers, Huggies, and Kirkland brand diapers exclusively. These diapers are seriously some of the best diapers I've bought and used on my kiddos so far! Both the daytime and the nighttime diapers are very soft and thick, and they use the velcro type of closure system. Unlike Pampers though, they don't have that extra "sticky tape" on the diaper tab-which usually just ends up sticking to the baby when trying to remove the diaper.

I've been using Huggies Nitetime diapers at night, and I still get some leaks in the morning, and with these, I've not had one leak yet. I also like that the night diapers are blue, and the day diapers are white--helps to distinguish in a dimly lit room!

I found that these fit wonderfully as well. They have an indicator on the front which tells you if the diaper fits properly (if the tabs close within the green zone, you have a good fit). The size seems pretty true to me, I bought size 5 for my daughter, who is about 29 pounds, and they fit perfectly around her cute little chubby legs. I am switching to these as soon as I run out of my Pampers and Huggies! What a great find and price!

  2. Hooray! I got these diapers for my twin grandsons who are 15 months old. They have been wearing Huggies Size 4, and I was curious to see if these diapers were as good as they described on line and on the box.

I am pleased to say that they fit great, didn't leak, day or night, and they are very cute too! There are two different colors; white with print for daytime and blue with print for night time use...they are not too bulky under their clothes or PJ's either..

The babies were able to pull the fasteners open that holds the diaper together (same with Huggies) and I was glad that the sticky tab easily stayed closed again once we got their clothes on them! Boy, these guys have fast little fingers...

As far as pricing, they are a smaller count box, lighter too, but you use less at night, and they are about 1 penny less per diaper than the 200 count size 4 Huggies that we get at Costco...much more convenient to get them on line..these large count/larger size boxes are starting to get really heavy, and with two, we go through a lot of them!

They worked great for our babies and I hope they work well for your baby too.

  3. These diapers work well. I have not had any leaks. The box contains about 2/3 daytime diapers and 1/3 nighttime diapers which are more absorbent. The daytime diapers are white and the nighttime blue, so they are easy to tell apart. The ratio does not work out to where I use an entire box at once, but I have no problem using the leftover nighttime diapers during the day. In fact, I prefer using the more absorbent diapers when we are out and about for several hours. It means one less diaper change.

When I first saw these diapers, I only saw that they were size Large (22 - 37 pounds). I thought my 29 pound child would fit into them nicely. She has been wearing size 6 Pampers for a while. When they arrived and were size 4, I thought it was hopeless. Although they were smaller than I expected, she was able to wear them. I could see that the absorbent center did not come up high enough in the back and the whole diaper looked too small all around, but it still worked fine. She'd wear them for a couple of hours at a time and did all sorts of messes in them. They held up and I didn't have a single leak. I found them to work just as well as the Pampers Cruisers I've used on all my kids, but my next box will be a size 6 which I think will fit my daughter's body shape better.

  4. I researched many types of diapers after pampers changed their cruisers, and this is the best by far! We've used three boxes and not a single leak during the day or night. In fact the daytime diapers are so good, I'm sure I could use them at night too. My 16 month old daughter sleeps 12 hours at night and we have not had a single leak. I tried pampers, huggies, earths best, and 7th generation - all of which leaked at night and some leaked during the day. The velcro-type closure did take some getting used to, but it works fine. These do seem to run a little on the small size, but many other brands do as well. I just ordered two more boxes of size 4, but they will probably be the last of that size (my daughter is about 24 pounds).

  5. Best diapers ever (great price too)! The night time diapers never leak. Too bad I can't find them in any stores nearby though. Delivery was fast.

  7. I hate leaky kids so I was a bit scared to try out diapers made by a toy company. But after putting the FP's through the paces we were pleasantly surprised...no runs, no leaks, no errors. I also noted that these diapers are priced less than major brand night diapers.

Our test subject was a mischievous 2-year old. At first these diapers didn't look like they would fit him but when we did put them on they fit surprisingly well and he did not complain about them. I am very relieved to report that after multiple night trials there were no incidents and this included the several times that Mommy overslept and Baby stayed in diaper longer.

In conclusion, no complaints from Mommy + no complaints from Baby = Happy Dad. Thumbs up, 5 stars.
