Safe, Wonderful Wipe! Best Alternative to Harmful, Natural Wipes

DermaH2O WaterWipes

DermaH2O WaterWipes

This is a great wipe! Baby and I both love it. It works well to clean everything off, anywhere--and the extra "grip" it provides by being just cloth and water, works to get everything off her bottom, or sticky, crusted food off her face. We use them for hands, feet, face, all over--baby, Mama and Papa! No rashes, no problems, no toxins, no worries. Total peace of mind. This is a simple, effective wipe--and no other ingredients are needed. And we have had absolutely no problem with mold (and I have a mold allergy, so I was concerned because of some reviews), and we take them out of the pack and put them in our wipes dispenser. As long as you use them and use them up regularly, you should have no problems!

Mamas who prefer wipes that smell fancy and are loaded with ingredients, consider first your child's safety. The benefits of this pure, healthy, safe wipe outweigh the perceived "costs" of losing the harmful ingredients! You are responsible for your child's health and well-being, and so many of the ingredients, even in the "natural" wipes, are dangerous: linked to ADHD and liver-kidney issues (Sodium Benzoate, etc.--we stopped using 7th Gen wipes after their new formulation which bumped this up to 2nd ingredient), fragrances are endocrine/hormone disruptors which can affect their development when absorbed through the skin, paraben preservatives are carcinogenic, etc. Even tea tree oil and lavender--volatile plant oils--were recently classified by the EWG as endocrine disruptors and carcinogenic (because they are estrogenic), after a study was done which found pre-pubescent breast growth in young boys, all three of whom used lavender and tea tree oil products. (Google for the article.) After doing in depth research, it was found that these oils have an estrogenic effect that can affect development in both boys and girls, and are now advised to be avoided by many health care professionals and environmental doctors. Go with these and you can be worry free!

  4. We use them everyday, all day. They really agree with our baby, and her skin. It's just good to know there all natural. Just water, and fruit extract. We wipe down her whole body at times she enjoy's it, so do we. Look at the ingredients in the wipes you buy in the store that they call natural, and you'll see why we like the DermaH2O product.

  5. Our son lost 90% of his intestines and now has chronic, bilious, acidic diarrhea. I have tried pampers sensitive wipes, huggies (the regular and the green, sensitive kind), babyganics, and the 7th generation wipes. They just made his skin errupt and irritated. It's terrible. We switched completely to just water and cloth at home because that seemed to be the best for his bum.

Then I found these wipes. I was skeptical, for obvious reasons. We were very happy to find that he did not react to these wipes. Thank goodness. We still use the water at home because we are used to them now, but we use these whenever we are out and about.

  6. I chose these wipes after discovering that the other wipes I had been using (Pampers and Huggies--even the so-called natural ones) contain lots of unnecessary ingredients (including parabens). I have been pleased with the Water Wipes. They do the job well--are large enough (for plenty of coverage), strong, and stay nice and moist (in their package, not in a wipe warmer). I am pleased to have what I consider to be a healthier alternative to traditional wipes.

  7. Do the job, clean well, and last a long time! I feel comfortable and confident using them on my baby!

  8. We used Piyo Piyo Pure Water Baby Wipes for a while and loved it. Then the product became unavailable, so we switched to this less expensive alternative. We love the fact that it contains only pure water, no fragments. The sheet is not as thick as Piyo Piyo, but it does the job as well. The closure of the wipes is just a sticker, so it's not as durable as Piyo Piyo's. Other than that, we like this product.
